A loft conversion adds a bedroom, often with an en-suite, without giving up any garden. North West London’s 1930s semis and Edwardian terraces are ideal candidates for rear dormers and hip-to-gable conversions.
We handle the structural steels, floor joists, staircase, fire-safety upgrades, insulation and finishing, so the new floor feels like it was always part of the house.

- Hip-to-gable conversions

Good to know
Permitted development allowance
Many loft conversions are permitted development, with an added roof volume limit of 40m³ for terraced houses and 50m³ for semi-detached and detached. Mansards and front-facing changes generally need full planning permission.
Headroom check first
You need roughly 2.2m from the top of the ceiling joist to the underside of the ridge for a comfortable conversion. We measure this on the first visit so you know early whether the loft works.
