An extension is usually the most cost-effective way to get the space you need without the stamp duty, fees and upheaval of moving. We build rear, side-return, wraparound and double-storey extensions on everything from 1930s semis to Victorian terraces.
We manage the build from groundworks to final finishes, coordinating structural engineers, building control and the specialist trades so you deal with one team and one programme.
What’s included
- Single-storey rear & side-return extensions
- Double-storey and wraparound extensions
- Foundations, drainage & groundworks
- Steelwork and structural openings
- Roofing, glazing & bi-fold / sliding doors
- Plastering, electrics, plumbing & finishes
Good to know
Planning or permitted development?
Many single-storey rear extensions in England fall under permitted development: up to 3m deep on attached houses and 4m on detached, or up to 6m / 8m via the prior-approval route. Conservation areas, flats and previously extended homes have tighter rules. We will tell you which route applies before any work is priced.
Party walls & building control
Building regulations approval is needed for every extension, and work on or near a shared wall usually triggers the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. We plan both into the programme so they never stall the build.
