We’d rather do fewer jobs properly
We work on new builds, extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments, kitchens and bathrooms, and commercial fit-outs. Some are a fortnight, some are most of a year.
Whatever the size, the way we run it doesn’t change. We visit before we price. You get the price itemised and in writing, with a programme that says what happens when. One person from our team runs your job from start to finish and answers the phone when you call.
If something on site turns out differently from what anyone expected, and in older houses it sometimes does, we stop, show you, and price it in writing before carrying on.
The rules we work to

- If the job changes, you see the new price in writing before we do the work.
- One person runs your job, and they answer their phone.
- The site is swept every evening and locked up every night.
- We carry public and employer’s liability insurance on every job.
- Building control sign-off and certificates are handed to you at the end.
How a job runs
Site visit & survey
We come out, measure up and talk it through. You’ll know what’s possible, what needs approval and roughly what it involves.
Fixed written quote
You get an itemised price and a programme: what’s included, what isn’t, and when each stage happens.
Approvals & planning
We sort building control, party wall notices and anything planning needs before a spade goes in the ground.
The build
Footings, walls, roof, first fix, plaster, second fix, finishes. Your site lead keeps you posted each week and keeps the site tidy.
Handover & aftercare
We walk round together and fix anything on the snag list, then hand over the sign-off and certificates. After that we’re still a phone call away.
